The article discusses the need for the introduction of new, innovative technologies in the provision of social services by social service centers for the elderly for active and productive old age. Also, the main methods and forms of assistance to the elderly are analyzed. The relative advantages of the introduction of innovative technologies in the social life of old people are arranged.
