Innovative technologies in animal husbandry

Efficiency increasing of agricultural enterprises is not possible without the introduction of innovations. Progress in the development of information, technical and communicational means, requires a change in attitude towards innovation in agricultural production. It is necessary to automate process of accounting for animal production and breeding information, its collection and processing on the basis of which should be the analysis of the results. In the laboratory of theoretical bases of breeding animals of Don State Agrarian University are developed some of application programs for livestock. Many of them over the years work with success at the leading enterprises of the Rostov, Pskov, Yaroslavl and Tyumen regions.
