Innovative management of sustainable tourism in the regions (based on the example of Primorsky territory)

The methodological approach to innovative management of the tourism sector of Primorsky Krai is substantiated with the aim of increasing economic efficiency, sustainable development and preserving the environmental potential of the territory. A statistical analysis of the state of tourism in the Primorsky Territory and its impact on the environment was carried out. The total volume of carbon emissions (CO2) from municipal solid waste and the market value of the “carbon footprint” left by tourists during their stay on a tourist tour were calculated. Recommendations have been developed for a transformational managed chain of tourism in the regions: environmental ideology, tools, measures for introducing into practice innovative management of a promising developing area in the regions of Russia.
