Foreign investments in oil and gas sector of the Tyumen region

The paper reflects dynamics of foreign investments in the Russian economy upon results 2012 and tasks of improving the investment climate in the Tyumen region being the major oil supplier in the Russian Federation. There is an analysis of foreign investments in oil production companies presented herein. It should be noted that the companies with foreign capital shares show higher productivity as compared with similar enterprises but without foreign capital participation. In 2011−2012 there is an increase in investments performed by Belarus and Kazakhstan in the Tyumen region.
