Institutional bases of state regulations of investment activities

Investments play a large role in the development of the economy, contribute to the solution of a significant number of social and economic problems, which in turn provide increased competitiveness of the economy of institutional units. Investment activity, like any other activity, requires appropriate regulation. State regulation of investment activity in the Russian Federation is based on the legal foundations of different levels of hierarchy. It is government regulation that contributes to the formation and development of an effective investment management system. The basis of investment regulation is a system of credit, budget, and tax mechanisms. By analyzing the domestic institutional and legal support of investment activity, two major trends can be distinguished: improvement of the legal regulation of financial and investment markets, as well as the creation of investment legislation in each subject of the Russian Federation. The legal framework takes into account various aspects of investment activity: the allocation of investment resources on a competitive basis, the regulation of taxation of investment projects, leasing operations, as well as foreign investments. The article clarifies the financial and non-financial methods of state regulation of investment activity in the context of economic sanctions.
