Instrumental support of the local food market in the regions (on the example of the Kursk and Lipetsk regions)

In the current difficult socio-economic conditions caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the events in Ukraine, the development of local food markets in the regions of Russia is of particular importance. The value and high importance of such markets is due to the fact that they are mainly focused on meeting public needs for essential goods. Namely, these goods, by the way, make up the bulk of the daily expenses of the population. Taking into account the significant territorial dispersion of our country, it should be noted that the formation and development of local food markets in different regions of the Russian Federation takes place with varying degrees of intensity and success. Differences in the socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation predetermine the specifics of the existing problems of the functioning and development of local food markets. At the same time, for small towns and rural settlements, positive trends in the development of local food markets are of particular importance, because in many respects they determine the volume and nature of the distribution of resources available in the territory. As part of this study, promising tools will be revealed that should be used to develop local food markets. There will also be a tour of the state of local food markets in the Lipetsk region and the Kursk region.
