Formation tools regional economic development in the context of transformation

The article presents the tools for the formation of regional economic development in the context of transformation. In the course of the study, strategic challenges that must be overcome for successful economic regional development were considered. As a result, the author concludes that the success of the integration of regions into the global information economy largely depends on the comprehensive development of information and communication infrastructure.
