In modern conditions of innovative development of the economy of the Russian Federation at the macro-, meso- and micro levels, digital marketing is becoming a new element of the system for managing the market activities of business entities that produce and promote new products to this market. Digital marketing is implemented in a virtual environment, which serves for hotel companies not only as a beautiful “portfolio”, “book of complaints and suggestions”, but also as a place to promote the hotel product. In the modern hotel industry, you can see many examples of advertising created specifically within the framework of digital marketing. All clients, potential and existing, are currently very actively using the media, the Internet, mobile phones, and booking services. For ease of interaction with clients and more effective promotion, modern hotels are actively introducing innovative digital solutions into their work - from using QR codes to obtain information about the hotel to creating 3D advertising. The limited use of digital marketing tools affects the efficiency of a hotel enterprise; its competitive advantages are lost against the background of chain hotel enterprises that use a wider range of tools to attract consumers and build long-term relationships with them.
