The article deals with the main methods of assessing the economic efficiency of the implementation of innovative projects in higher education. Analysis of recommendations, standards, GOSTs, and other technical and regulatory acts on the topic was conducted. An original classification based on the most popular assessment tools that can form the basis of the future decision support system for the implementation of innovative projects in educational organizations is presented. A group of four integral indicators that can be used to assess the economic efficiency of the implementation of innovative projects in educational organizations is formed, the composition of each of the indicators is considered. The group included: investment attractiveness, commercialization potential, marketing, unit economics. The composition of each of the indicators is considered.
