Tools for developing the agricultural enterprise production strategy: essence and testing

In conditions of volatility and uncertainty of the market environment, the development of a production strategy for enterprises of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) is an important factor in improving the efficiency of production activities of enterprises. Without a scientifically based production strategy, it is impossible to foresee and take into account all the risks of production activities. The purpose of the study is to improve the elements of the production strategy of an agro-industrial enterprise. Research objectives: to study the current state and features of the strategic development of the production activities of agricultural enterprises, the essence and elements of their production strategy; to analyze the tools and methodological principles for the development of the production strategy of agribusiness enterprises; build an algorithm and offer methodological tools for developing the production strategy of an agro-industrial complex; to test the algorithm and methodological tools for developing the production strategy of the agro-industrial complex. The object of the study was the regularities of the strategic development of the production activities of agro-industrial complex enterprises. The subject of the study was the process and tools for developing the production strategy of enterprises in the agro-industrial complex. The main result of the study is the proposed methodology for developing the production strategy of the enterprise, the key element of which is the strategic map for assessing and accounting for the risks of the production activities of the agro-industrial complex. The approbation of the proposed methodology for developing a production strategy at one of the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Mansky District of the enterprise showed its practical applicability, analytical and predictive value.
