Management tools for specially protected natural areas (using the example of the Volgograd region)

The article examines specially protected natural territories, the history of their study, formation, causes of occurrence and increased interest, distribution on the territory of the Russian Federation in general, and the Volgograd region in particular, examines the features of the management of these territories, the laws that regulate the creation and functioning of protected areas, as well as projects that now exist in the Volgograd region, aimed at the preservation of specially protected natural areas.
