Risk management tools for Russian importers in East Asian markets

In the context of sanctions and the reorientation of Russian trade to Asian markets, effective risk management is becoming critically important for importers. The article analyzes the specific risks faced by Russian companies in the East Asian region, including currency fluctuations, nonpayments and logistical problems. Adapted risk management tools are offered, such as a three-stage payment mechanism and a selection process for logistics operators, to increase the sustainability of import operations. The study uses PESTEL analysis, scenario modeling, and risk matrices to assess risks and confirm the effectiveness of the proposed tools. The results offer practical solutions for Russian importers to minimize risks and strengthen trade with East Asian partners.
