The paper examines the theoretical and applied aspects of the integration of satellite remote sensing technologies and geographic information spatial analysis tools into the monitoring system for forest ecosystems of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Attention is focused on the use of Sentinel-2 multispectral data, and the effectiveness of the Google Earth Engine cloud analytics platform is substantiated. In addition, the architecture and functionality of the Innoter specialized software package are being considered. The article proposes a concept for the implementation of a combined approach to monitoring.
