Integration of risk - based management in the company's activities

The article actualizes the problem of introducing risk-oriented management into the activities of companies. Organizations should now be guided by the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard for Quality Management Systems. Requirements (ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems - Requirements, IDT), in which risk thinking is the main guideline for risk management. The material reveals the role of risk-oriented thinking of staff, as the basis for successful risk management, and the risk-based management philosophy is built on this. Risk-oriented thinking must be present both at the highest level of management, and among direct managers and employees responsible for risk. The problem is that the standard does not define the directions and tools of risk-based management. The article proposes a solution to this problem without a «revolutionary» change, but an «evolutionary» way. Organizations can solve the problem of risk-based management by integrating it into existing management. The stages of integration of risk-based management are presented. They can be represented by specific steps indicated in the article. For each stage, organizations develop implementation tools. The article proposes the tools of risk-oriented management to accompany the integration of risk-oriented management in the activities of companies, provides forms and content of tools.
