Integrative in-silico profile of BMP2K

Бесплатный доступ

In this study, performed a comprehensive in silico analysis of the BMP2K (BMP2-inducible kinase) protein, a serine/threonine kinase whose expression is induced by bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP2) signaling. The protein is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Interest in BMP2K is driven by its presumed role in the pathogenesis of various diseases, including tumors and bone metabolism disorders. Despite the existence of several studies, the molecular mechanisms regulating BMP2K remain insufficiently understood, making it necessary to conduct an in-depth analysis of its structure, evolutionary conservation, expression profile across different tissues, and integration into signaling networks. A bioinformatics approach makes it possible to systematically study BMP2K by integrating data on sequences, domain organization, phylogenetic relationships, and gene co-expression, thereby providing a foundation for understanding its functional significance and potential clinical applications.
