Intellectual migration of students of Kaliningrad region: expectations and reality

The article represents the results of sociological survey among the Kaliningrad region students. In this research, the author analyzes the migration tenets of the students in the context of academic mobility and intellectual migration in the process of education and after its accomplishment. The article proves the statistically valid correlation between the migration tenets and regional identity, experience in international student exchange programs, the number of foreign languages, which a student knows. The main goals and patterns of potential migration of the students are revealed.
