Intellectual property rights of Russian Federation in 2008

This article discusses the current state and prospects of legal protection and use of intellectual activity and means of individualization, the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (Rospatent) in control, legal protection and use of scientific and technical activities, derived from the federal budget in 2008. We present an overview of developments in the law providing the legal protection of intellectual property and their qualitative analysis. Specifically examines the legal protection of intellectual property and the nature of administrative disputes related to the provision of legal protection of intellectual property. It also addresses the problems of interaction with Rospatent federal executive authorities, judicial authorities and with the subjects of the Russian Federation. There are ways to improve the information services provided by Rospatent, including the use of automated systems.
