Intellectual capital as a factor of economic growth

This article discusses the concept and essence of intellectual capital. The relevance of the stated topic lies in the fact that there is a transition to a qualitatively new approach to socio-economic development, the main factor of which is intellectual capital. The development of national welfare directly depends on scientific and technological progress, new developments, as well as the introduction of technologies and the development of human capital. The development of the economy is determined by innovation orientation. In the course of the work, the problems of intellectual capital in the Russian Federation and ways to solve them are revealed. The directions of intellectual capital development in the Russian Federation are outlined.
