The article describes the technology of intensive use of sows. The efficiency of using sows is calculated. It is proved that from sows it is possible to get 2 farrowing per year. One of the main ways to increase the intensity of the use of sows is the widespread introduction of early weaning piglets. The timing of weaning piglets is inversely related to the intensity of use of the queens.
