Interactive services on the basis of municipal GIS "Dubna"

Thanks to the territorial compactness, high educational level of town population and competent authorities of urban policy, Dubna is an ideal ground for interactive services implementation, which would encourage population to control(manage) the development of the town. This article describes interactive services and GIS-technologies that are developed in Institute of system analysis and management (ISAM) of University Dubna on agreement with town administration. Service «Interactive map of Dubna city» is developed, based on MGIS «Dubna». It allows town residents to report problems and monitor their elimination. The complex of GIS - technologies is created to monitor the state of engineering networks and communications. It is used to provide the appropriate municipal services with information, required for quick emergency response, planning and capital repairs, and works on reconstruction of networks. A specialized service for scientific tourism is being developed to represent the capacity of research centers and laboratories of science city Dubna.
