Russia's interests in the focus of energy strategies of Japan and China

The article presents an analysis of energy strategies of Japan and China and the possibility of their pairing with the energy interests of Russia. The author considers mechanisms of the state policy defining ways and concrete terms of the solution of tasks directed to the achievement of planned purposes. A particular attention is paid to the relationship of Japan and China. The paper noted that these countries are competing in political and economic spheres, trying to gain leadership in the region. The most acute confrontation is observed in the sphere of energy. The author makes a conclusion about the long-term crisis of relations between these two countries, which can escalate into armed clashes in the near future that will negatively affect the international political process. At the same time, the coordination of energy strategies of Beijing and Tokyo can solve the acute energy problems and maintain stability in the region. Russia can play an important role in this process as a close and reliable supplier of energy resources.
