«Student - teacher» internet communication: from traditional formulas of politeness to a new network etiquette

The article addresses the question of how the principles and norms of network etiquette (netiquette) are implemented at the present stage of Internet communication and how important it is to follow them in student-teacher interactions. The basic principles and rules of netiquette that contribute to successful communication and protect from communication failures are formulated. The most frequent deviations from the norms of netiquette in the correspondence “student - teacher” are identified and analyzed. The main trends characteristic of modern network interaction are outlined. As a result, it is proved that a new youth (student) netiquette is currently being formed, which is characterized by pragmatism, focus on the promptness of information transmission and the widespread use of visual means, but the rejection of traditional rules and principles of netiquette can cause communication failures.
