Internet technologies and the Russian political process

The article considers the main types of Internet technologies that various political actors apply actively in the Russian political processes. Among the applied technologies there are: various rating and search systems, blogging and micro-blogging, video hosting, electronic payment systems, demotivational posters. It is concluded that the political actors and citizens of modern Russia make extensive use of the Internet resources, applying them for their own political purposes.
