Interpretation and argumentation in communicative strategy of the author (on analytical articles on economy in newspaper "Economy and life")

The article analyses the author's position in the analytical article on economy, published in the newspaper, in the communicative-stylistic aspect. The author's position in the media-text is regarded as a media-event, represented by an aggregate of economic terms, and its interpretation realized through selection and presentation of arguments (i.e. argumentation) aimed at affecting the reader. The author's position forms media-discourse, which controls accumulation of sense of each concept in the text term system. Interpretation and argumentation are complementary principles of text-formation: the object of interpretation is a problem, while the object of argumentation is a media-event. Argumentation is a linking chain between the author, a problem under interpretation and the reader.
