The interpretative nature of communicative composite sentence perspective (evidence from English)

The article discusses the communicative perspective of a composite sentence in the context of interpretation viewed as linguistic cognitive activity of an individual. The author points out that being one of the interpretative language functions, the function of determining the status of knowledge shapes the above-mentioned perspective. The author argues that the communicative composite sentence perspective is profiled due to the processes of metainterpretation wherein a composite sentence is construed as a linguistic knowledge format. One of the principles of communicative composite sentence perspective is semantics conceptual representation that predetermines the conceptual nature of given / new knowledge.
