Introduction of seven species and two hybrid forms of Syringa genus were estimated in the Botanical Garden of the Institute of Biology, Komi Sci. Centre, Ural Branch, RAS. Their botanical properties were specified. The peculiarities of growth and development of Syringa vulgaris cultivars were revealed.
