Investments as a factor of stabilization of the country's macroeconomics

Investments are one of the important tools for ensuring the socio-economic development of the country and its individual territories, since only through investment investments it is possible to achieve high-quality and radical growth and development in a particular area. The deterioration of the foreign policy and economic situation in 2014 contributed to the intensification of crisis phenomena in the economy, which further affected the decline in investment activity and capital outflow. The study evaluates investments in fixed assets of Russia as a factor of stabilization of macroeconomics in the conditions of anti-Russian sanctions in the period before and after the pandemic, identifies trends that have developed under the influence of the crisis and their causes. It is established that in the last 2 years there has been a positive trend towards accelerating the growth of the volume of investments in fixed assets both in value terms at a high rate, and when considering the physical volume, where the increase was 8.6% and 4.6%, respectively. At the same time, in the structure of investments today, as before, the overwhelming share is accounted for by own funds, and the basis of attracted funds is budget funds, the share of which has grown to 20%. In the context of the territorial aspect, there is a significant differentiation in the volume of investments: in absolute terms, the CFD remains the leader, accounting for 34% of the total volume. However, per capita, the largest amount of investment in fixed assets is steadily maintained in the UFD - 332 thousand rubles per person in 2022, while in the CFD - only 234 thousand rubles.
