Investments in diversification as a factor in improving the efficiency of the company’s activities

This article reveals the concepts of such economic terms as: diversification, competition, efficiency, sustainable development. The goal is set, the research methods are chosen, and the results of the study are prescribed. Also, along with the definitions of terms, the tactical and strategic tasks inherent in such an economic category as diversification are reflected. The species diversity is described, the essence of each type is revealed on a specific example of currently operating enterprises: “Magnit”, “Ermolino”, “Sber” and others. The criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the enterprise are determined, a number of factors influencing the activities of the organization or company are given. At the end of the work, the conclusions within the framework of the research topic are presented, as well as the answer to the initial question: is diversification a factor in increasing the efficiency of the company’s activities.
