This article examines the investment attractiveness of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, analyzes the change in the share of the agricultural sector of the economy in the overall structure of the economy over the past decades of a country in the zone of military conflicts. One of the possible projects on the territory of Afghanistan is presented, which will significantly affect the industrial development of the state and will create new jobs, prerequisites for the development of related and new industries. The authors note that the low investment attractiveness of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is due to political instability, lack of guarantees of stability due to military conflicts, low qualifications of personnel, and the outflow of an active part of the population from the country. The authors came to the conclusion that despite the political and economic instability, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, with the political will of its leadership in the next decade, can create an investment mechanism for attracting private project financing to the country for its industrial development, which will increase, first of all, interest in investing in the economy of Afghanistan of countries such as China and Russia.
