Investment attractiveness of Russia in international rankings

International and national trends in the economic sphere indicate the interest of countries in improving the investment rating of the state and, consequently, in increasing the volume of foreign investment. This problem is of particular importance for Russia. The article examines the position of Russia in the international investment market. The analysis shows that during the study period there is a mixed dynamics of investment attractiveness of the country. In addition, the article reflects the negative factors affecting the position of the country in the ranking, as well as the positive criteria, including the enforcement of contracts and registration of property rights. The article presents the branches of the domestic economic system, in which it is more difficult for business to attract investments. The results of the study revealed that the country needs to carry out economic reforms and simplify the business environment.
