Investment strategy and its types in foreign researches

The article provides an overview of modern foreign literature on investment strategy issues, factors influencing its choice, and examines the main types of investment strategies of an individual, corporations and states from both financial and economic points of view. The authors describe in detail the vertical, horizontal, complex investments studied by foreign researchers and on export platforms, as well as the following investment strategies: passive and active, investing in growth (short-term and long-term investments), in purchase and retention, in small capitalization, cost, opposite, impulsive, cost, dividend, factor, multi-active investment, income investing, dividend growth, indexing, transformational, aggressive corporate strategy, ESG investing (environmental, social and managerial factors), socially responsible, impact investing, ethical investment strategies, etc. Attention is paid to the risks associated with investing and foreign direct investment. Thoughtful investment solves a whole range of tasks at the macro, meso and microeconomic levels, thereby creating favorable conditions for economic development, and determining the economic essence and nature of investments is a fundamental theoretical prerequisite for any economic concept of development. Many works of recent years have already actively reflected the rapidly changing not only economic, but also political conditions.
