Foreign direct investment is an extremely important part of the modern world economy. The conditions for attracting foreign direct investment are expressed in the level of favorable investment climate, which is a reflection of a whole range of various economic, social and political factors. The article examines the current state of the investment climate in Russia. The dynamics of foreign direct investment in the domestic economy is presented. The main problems in the field of ensuring a favorable investment climate are presented.
