Irish pub in Russia: global and local in culture

This article is analyzing the problem of interaction of globalization processes and adaptation abilities of local culture using the example of the existence of Irish pubs in Russia, which are, originally, not just a type of drinking establishment, but places with their own history and cultural traditions connected with them. The main purpose of the study is to consider the nature of Irish pubs and then to identify the special features of its being within Russian cultural space.
