The outcomes of treatment of patients with open fractures of long bones

The results of treatment of 100 patients with open fractures of limb long bones are given in the work. Besides, purulent-and-inflammatory processes have been diagnosed in 21,0% of patients, and the causes of these processes included non-radical primary debridement (33,3 %), severity of open injury (28,5 %) and too late visit for care (23,8 %). In this connection the author proposes to optimize the tactics of treatment of patients with open fractures of long bones.
