Limitation period in the context of conceptual changes of the civil laws of Russia

The article deals with the most significant changes in the civil legislation concerning the statute of limitations. The author highlights the positive changes in the civil law regulations governing the limitation period, namely establishment of a general rule regarding the starting point of the limitation period, the limit of the 10-year statute of limitations, elimination of references to the claim in accordance with the established procedure as a reason for the interruption of periods of limitations.
