Artificial interspecific hybrids of the genus Leymus (Hochst.) Poaceae

We have obtained the artificial interspecific hybrids of the genus Leymus in three combinations: 1. L. chinensis (Buryatia No. 36) x L. littoralis (Buryatia); 2. L. chinensis (Buryatia) x L. dasystachys (Altai); 3. L. chinensis (Buryatia) x L. paboanus (Tuva), given their morphological and diagnostic characteristics. The article is describes the method of interspecific hybridization, carried out by simple crossing between parental species by castration and forced pollination. As a result of the study, it has been found that artificial interspecific hybrids have the highest quality properties.
