The article is dedicated to certain peculiarities of the interrelation of art, personality and modern technology. Digital technology, artistic instruments along with society form up a unified global dimension, where each component plays its unique role and continuously interacts with other components. Easy-reach availability of cultural content deprives art of its playful element - being different from daily life. Art is moved by its own inner laws which display themselves uniquely in each given historical period, with its changes and fluctuations it is a natural simile to the ocean surface whose existence is unbound from the weather conditions at a given moment.
