Art in the cultural science structure

During the recent decade the art comprehension acquired a theory of art (or art culturology) status. The art culturology is a study of art as a constituent element of the culture, its specific functions, content, figurative-sound and spatial systems, and role in the society. As an academic subject it has the same qualities and characteristics as the art culture (forms, functions, principles, and typology).
