The art of the soundword in the development of an oral monological narrative

The article deals with the issues of linguistic creativity and the development of oral monologic utterance in the context of the sounding word. Features of modern speech practice in higher education are shown, as well as complex actions to study the monologue theory. The psychological and linguistic characteristics of monologic speech, verbal behavior when creating an author's monologue are shown. Linguistic, linguistic, communicative and culturological competences are described in the process of author's speech activity. The mechanisms for creating a monologue are determined on the example of defensive speech addressed to the jury on the basis of the story of Isaak Babel "The King".
