Islam and Muslims in the regional community

This article is based on the opinion polls of Samara citizens, and expert interviews with representatives of the Muslim clergy and parish. The author characterizes the perception of Islam and Muslims in the regional community, social well-being of the Muslim population, Samara Muslims’ views on radical Islam, the issues of integrating of the Muslim congregations into modern urban community.
