Isis and Al-Qaeda as the determinants of religious extremism in the UK

The article analyzes the ideological and structural determinants of terrorist organizations of ISIS and Al-Qaeda through the prism of laws and regulations and scientific literature in the UK. The basic ideological and political concepts, motives and the opinions of experts and politicians are observed. The study reveals the similarities and differences between ideological determinants which shall be used by terrorist groups in order to increase the number of neophytes and Muslim extremists. The article focuses on modern information technologies, in particular the Internet, applied by extremists. It outlines the danger of using cyberspace by ideologists of these terrorist groups. The author concludes that the UK government should take measures to prevent the dissemination of ideas of these organizations on the territory of the country.
