The article analyses the norms of criminal and criminal-procedural law, regulating a new kind of exemption from criminal responsibility with the purpose of criminal-legal measures in the form of court fines, and legal decisions of the RF Supreme Court in this regard. The most significant issues arising while executing court decisions on the imposition of a fine under Chapter 51.1 of the Criminal Procedure Code are examined on examples of the contemporary judicial practice.
