The use of anthropological space for tourism development in the Republic of Dagestan (case study of Untsukul village)

The article deals with the use of anthropological space in the tourism development in the Republic of Dagestan. The authors discuss both positive and negative aspects of such use. As an example of ethnic center capable to attract tourists, the authors consider the Untsukul village that keep and transfer from generation to generation the basics of traditional art - wood-carving. The article traces the history of this art in the village, lists and describes wooden art products, which are produced by the local population, and then inlaid with metal ornaments.
