Use of biological sorbents for soil and water purification from oil pollution

In this paper analysis of peculiarities of using of biological sorbents as efficient mean of purification of soil and water objects from oil pollution has been carried out.Review of patents and of technical solutions on the problem of using of biological sorbents for purification of soil and water objects from oil pollution have been considered, it advantages and disadvantages have been analyzed. The patents were systematically divided into three groups: purification of soil from oil pollution, purification of water objects, complex purification of soil and water objects.Complex biological sorbents have been developed which are proposed to add into the soil contaminated with the oil and oily products. During further development of efficient biological sorbents special attention should be paid to improvement of sorption properties of sorbents (adsorption capacity, oil capacity, adsorption velocity), it complex using with biological destructors etc. Using of results of research will allow us to develop more efficient biological sorbents allowing us to reach significant reduction of it negative impact of oil pollutions to the humans and to biosphere.
