Using blockchain technologies to protect intellectual property rights in the digital environment

The article analyzes the use of blockchain technologies to protect intellectual property rights in the digital environment. The problems of traditional methods of intellectual property rights protection, including piracy and lack of transparency in the distribution of rights, are considered. The advantages of the blockchain are presented, such as automation, transparent registration of rights and the ability to verify the authenticity of data without the participation of intermediaries. The current difficulties of implementing blockchain technologies, including issues of legal regulation and high energy costs, are also discussed.
