Using remote sensing data to monitor fires in the Rostov region

Using the MODIS archive of data for detecting active fires, the temporal and spatial features of the fire regime in municipal areas of the Rostov region were determined. High density and a large number of thermal points per year are characteristic of areas located in the floodplain and Don delta. The data obtained will allow you to effectively plan fire prevention measures.
