This article discusses the use of geoinformation methods in the environmental assessment of territories. GIS technologies play a leading role in these studies, due to the wide range of tools. Geoinformation technologies greatly simplify the visualization of environmental data, which makes information more accessible and understandable for both specialists and ordinary users.
