The use of horizontal shafts for multi-cycle hydraulic fracturing in low-permeability reservoirs

The experience of NGDU Aznakaevskneft in the development of oil fields, especially in the field of horizontal drilling, is important and interesting. Horizontal drilling makes it possible to increase the efficiency of oil reserves production from low-permeability reservoirs, which are weakly effective using traditional methods. This method also helps to increase the flow rate of wells and shorten the payback period of projects. In the case of complex carbonate reservoirs, as in the case of Chinese deposits, where porosity and permeability are low and the reservoirs are heterogeneous due to cracks, cavities and dissolution pores, horizontal drilling perpendicular to natural cracks allows for increased oil production. This method creates a grid of communicating cracks, increasing hydrocarbon filtration paths and ensuring more efficient well operation. Such innovative approaches and technologies in the development of oil fields play an important role in improving the efficiency of hydrocarbon production and increasing the production of oil reserves from
