Using innovation in environmental issues

This article discusses the environmental innovation as a factor for sustainable development of the country, topical issues greening the economy. It reveals the need to introduce environmental innovations to improve the quality of life. The influence of the state on eco-innovation in Russia. We studied the concept of environmental innovation (eco-innovation), and the causes which impel companies to engage in eco-innovation. We analyzed the main grown actively using the eco-innovation. It was concluded that the positive effect of the use of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies to the level of economic development, investment attractiveness and competitiveness of the region.
