The article shows the feasibility of producing composite materials from polymer waste, using polyethylene with the addition of quartz–feldspar sand as a filler. The process involves secondary raw materials from the production cycle that pollute the environment, which is an important factor from an environmental standpoint. An extrusion–rolling– forming (ERF) technology was used to manufacture the composites, significantly increasing productivity compared with existing methods. This technology made it possible to obtain thinner materials that are more resistant to aggressive environments without any loss of physical, mechanical, or strength properties. The resulting composites can subsequently be used in various fields, such as insulating films, waterproofing materials, and similar applications.
